HR Generalist Manager – High Frequency Trading Firm – Up to £60k + bonus

In a time when some crypto businesses are shrinking, there are only a few doing the exact opposite, with the balance sheet to make it happen.

During a recession, tech firms may adopt a more cautious approach to hiring. There’s an increased focus on cost-saving measures, and a shift towards hiring for roles that are deemed essential for the company’s immediate needs. In most cases, this means only hiring on the engineering and technology front.

Therefore, it takes a special type of firm to have the funding and the vision to continue growing its business with one of its first HR hires.

The company:

Durlston Partners are working with an Algo-Crypto Trading firm based in Hong Kong with an office in London. They utilise proprietary technology to satisfy a wide range of liquidity needs globally for almost 10 years. This firm are continuing to hire despite some challenges in the crypto space, a positive sign of their approach towards risk.

The role:

Standalone human resources hire with remote reporting in Hong Kong, this role covers the entire scope of the HR spectrum. From Talent Acquisition, employee relations, comp/benefits as well as covering policies and procedures, this role is a great opportunity to increase experience in the full employee life cycle.

There is also a lot of opportunity to work on various projects alongside the day to day work, including leading, driving and supporting global HR projects as well as increasing brand awareness and building relationships with external parties.

Requirements:

• 4yrs + in a HR generalist position
• Experience as a standalone HR would be ideal
• A solid understanding UK employment legislations
• Experience driving projects from proposal to delivery
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills
