Senior Frontend Developer (React) – Global Hedge Fund – Up to £140,000 Base + Bonus

A Global Hedge Fund is looking for a Senior React Developer to build the UI of a crucial internal platform for mapping macro trends for portfolios to best leverage them. They are consistently one of the leading hedge fund managers and take pride in hiring top tier technologists in order to drive their growth.

In this highly collaborative role, you will partner with portfolio managers and strategists to drive the development and enhancement of internal data analysis systems. You will also regularly work alongside front office risk and treasury teams to build strategic desktop applications to be used across trading teams. Hence, communication skills will be crucial for success in this JavaScript/React Developer role and will allow you to most effectively develop your finance/capital markets understanding through broad and deep exposure to this side of the business.

Tech Requirements:

• Excellent professional knowledge of JavaScript & React
• Experience architecting SPAs
• Exposure to building desktop apps with Electron
• Jest or similar for testing React applications
