Package: Up to £280k base + equity

A leading conversational AI platform, enabling companies to build, optimise, and scale advanced AI agents, are looking to hire a an Engineering Manager to help build them build a new project from the ground up.

What you’ll do

• Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team responsible for deploying cutting-edge conversational AI agents used by millions.
• Work hands-on across Python, TypeScript and asynchronous systems to design, build and iterate on AI agents that solve complex customer problems.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, research and enterprise customers to translate real-world pain points into robust AI solutions.
• Help drive engineering strategy, influence platform evolution, and contribute to a world-class agent development environment.

What you bring

• 2+ years of engineering management experience and 7+ years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on ability in Python, TypeScript and asynchronous programming.
• Comfort working across deep technology stacks and diagnosing complex system issues.
• Bonus: experience with multi-modal AI models.
