He’s brought a data backed approach to create market insights across our clients, candidates, and teams. Meraj has built out our Digital Assets team to help deliver to our clients across the globe including UK, US, Europe & APAC.
Meraj was one of the first Uber employees in London helping to scale a number of teams to make it the fastest growing (and most profitable) city globally.

Warwick has been focusing on Digital Assets since 2017, building some of the industry’s leading firms both in Europe and Asia from the ground up. From top percentile Software Engineers to Heads of Sales, Marketing and Investment Analysts, he prides himself on how his Front Office knowledge enables him to offer a comprehensive team-building solution.

Xander specialises in recruiting across quantitative research, trading technology, and machine learning in London and New York, with a deep understanding of both the US and UK talent markets. He works with hedge funds, trading firms, and startups to recruit engineers, researchers, and leaders. Beyond client work, he mentors new consultants and contributes to the growth of the wider team.

Jamie is a friendly, positive & enthusiastic individual who loves working in tech recruitment. He is always looking to make a difference and enjoys delivering to clients and helping passionate programmers secure their dream role.
In his spare time Jamie enjoys playing golf, travelling and reading books on finance and tech.

Mike has 6+ years of technical recruitment experience and joined Durlston Partners in 2023. He focuses on building engineering teams for AI/ML startups from seed to late stage.
Previously at Google, he gained firsthand insight into top-tier tech talent. He’s since built a strong track record placing engineers in Software, ML/AI, and DevOps roles across fast-growing companies.
Efficient and relationship-driven, Mike enjoys helping startups scale. Outside work, he’s often at the beach, staying active, or cheering on the Yankees.

Marcus is one of Durlston Partners’ longest-serving team members. He works across the stack for trading roles and has built a strong network of engineers, researchers, and technologists across the UK, US, and APAC. He approaches his role with urgency and efficiency, and prides himself on client delivery and service.
Outside of the office, Marcus can usually be found playing football, frequenting London’s best watering holes, or exploring the capital’s food scene.

Rahn covers our buy-side business in the Middle East and beyond, working closely across Investment, Quant and Technology functions for Hedge Funds, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Prop Trading, Family Offices etc.
Originally joining Durlston Partners as a graduate, driven by a strong interest in both financial markets and technology. He looks to foster a knowledge-led approach within the business, taking this to the industry and successfully building professional and meaningful relationships with leading clients and talented individuals.

James is a senior consultant in the Core Tech team at Durlston Partners, working in recruitment since 2016, he focuses on placing top talent in the AI, Tech and Financial Services sector. He has built strong industry relationships and is known for delivering high-quality candidates who make a long-term impact.
James takes pride in providing a smooth and transparent recruitment process, ensuring both clients and candidates receive the best possible service.
In the office, James is very approachable, with a wealth of knowledge to impart and great energy he brings to the team.

Karolis joined Durlston in January 2022 and has been a charismatic figure in the office since his first day. Born in Lithuania, Karolis moved to the UK age 10 and approaches life and work with a compassionate approach, taking into account feelings and emotions of the people he comes in contact with.
Karolis comes from a semi-professional basketball background, having played at Division 1 level for Elon University. Thanks to this, he picked up and transferred skills like discipline, teamwork and listening over to his first role in Recruitment.

Joshwa began his career in executive search for the C-Suite and has six years of experience, including five at Durlston Partners, where they specialise in Software Engineering, Quant Development, and Infrastructure hires for hedge funds, trading firms, and high-growth startups.
At the start of 2025, they moved to Dubai to expand Durlston Partners’ presence in the UAE, working with candidates considering relocation and advising clients on setting up in the region.
Josh values real conversations – often over a coffee or a beer – and focuses on building long-term relationships, staying in touch, and only reaching out when an opportunity genuinely fits both where someone is and where they want to grow.

Danny has a background in both law and psychology. He has a wealth of experience working with people, in the field of criminal justice, having spent six years as a therapist in the Romanian prison system. During this time, Danny helped many inmates to overcome the challenges they faced and to make positive changes in their lives.
After moving to London in 2019, he decided to combine his passion for human behaviour and technology and started working as a recruiter for software engineers in the crypto industry.
He has a deep understanding of the technology used in the crypto industry, which has been instrumental in helping him to find the right candidates and building connections.

Louis joined us in early 2022 after a career in the art world and has been a great asset to the Core Technology Team. His charisma, charm and deep understanding of the industry have enabled him to build great relationships with his clients and provided him with a proven track record of successfully placing top talent in key positions.
He has a solid reputation for delivering results and helping the top Hedge Funds and HFTs achieve their goals.

Siva’s recruitment career began after he completed a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics & Statistics from the University of Edinburgh, where he rediscovered his interest in finance and honed the skills necessary to establish lasting connections with clients. His experience in hospitality, coupled with being an Olympiad medallist, has allowed him to acquire the technical proficiency required for success in the quant recruiting sector.
In his free time, Siva likes to watch movies and play chess, which he is currently ranked in the top 3% in the world. He is also an avid tennis fan.

James has been specialising in tech recruitment since 2015, focusing on hiring software engineers. His career has taken him around the globe, with experience living and working in London, Singapore, Estonia, and now Dubai.
He has also worked in-house, gaining invaluable insights into the intricacies of hiring processes, as well as the internal decisions and challenges companies face when building top-tier technical teams.
He has a sausage dog named Bailey.

Daniel sits in our Core Tech team at Durlston Partners and has around 4 years of experience in recruitment, specialising in core technologies and trading. He has successfully helped candidates secure roles with some of the industry’s top firms and continues to build a strong network across the financial services sector. Dedicated and detail-oriented, Daniel strives to deliver the best possible outcomes for both clients and candidates.
He also hosts a monthly Finance & Tech Run Club for professionals, bringing people together through shared interests outside of work.

Jared has been in recruitment going on 6 years across Agency and in-house roles in the UAE and London. Jared’s industry experience is relatively broad across FS/Banking, FinTech, Automotive, Shipping, Retail and Hospitality. His most recent agency role was focusing on Infrastructure hiring in London predominantly into banking and FS clients.

Matt specializes in recruiting across quantitative research, trading technology, and machine learning. He partners with hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, and AI startups spanning seed to late stage. Beyond his work in talent strategy, Matt also serves as an Advisor and Strategic Alliance Lead for a biotech company harnessing AI and genetics to prevent injuries, and he mentors early-stage founders through IndieBio, an SOSV program backing deep tech ventures worldwide.
Off the clock, you’ll likely find Matt at an ice hockey rink – either lacing up as a former college player, professional, and one-time emergency goalie for the New York Rangers (yes, that actually happened in 2019), or coaching young players on and off the ice to help them navigate their path toward college hockey.
