Role Overview: Lead the design, implementation and optimisation of a leading AI firm’s user interface and experience. You’ll have full ownership over their frontend, working directly with the CTO to spearhead its development.

You’d take the lead in both coding and team leadership, shaping their frontend stack and user interface from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the user interface from concept to production-ready code.
• Collaborate with UX and product teams to manage visual design.
• Develop and maintain a compliant, reusable component library.
• Interface with and modify multiple backends as needed.
• Build tools to benchmark and identify front-end performance issues.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience with React
• A solid understanding of Next.js/SSR, including its advantages and trade-offs
• Familiarity with other programming languages like Python or Rust
• Aptitude for work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
