Senior Security Engineer

Up to £200k + discretionary bonus

We are working with a reputable Asset Management firm in London looking for a senior member to their Security Team.

Responsibilities:

Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust security measures to safeguard systems, networks, and data.
Conduct comprehensive security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure proactive threat detection and response.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into all aspects of technology infrastructure and software development lifecycle.
Stay abreast of emerging security trends, tools, and techniques, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance security posture.
Strategic work on the overall digital security strategy

Requirements:

Domain experience from finance working with microservice architecture and offensive tools
Scripting languages: Golang/Java/Bash/Python
Proficiency in conducting security assessments, penetration testing, and incident response procedures.
Strong understanding of networking protocols, encryption technologies, and cloud security best practices.
Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
