A research focused investment manager is seeking the services of a Production support engineer to assist with their expansion in to the cloud.
You’ll work closely with development teams covering everything from data ingestion through to execution and post-trade activities by creating and managing critical systems.
You will have the opportunity to enhance your cloud technology skills in a large scale production environment.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of critical systems and ensure operational stability of production systems.
- Respond to issues raised internally by investigating and implementing solutions to prevent repeat occurrences.
- Proactively contribute to the monitoring and alerting systems
- Assist with the transition in to the cloud (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)
Requirements
- 3-5 years working with production systems in the financial services industry
- Experience a scripting language (Python, Bash, Powershell)
- Proficient in SQL

Job Description: As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of the company’s infrastructure. The firm is a pension insurance provider who spun out of a leading investment bank in the early 2000’s. Run like a boutique hedge fund, they apply systematic trading infrastructure to pension funds to yield better returns with less risk, recording $1 billion dollar returns in 2021.
They currently have an opportunity for a talented engineer to join them on a new phase where they are building out an entirely greenfield cloud infrastructure to support the whole company.

The role:
- Build and support the trading and research platforms on different OS environments – predominantly Linux with some Windows.
